Lisa, briong this to arties please. I would love to talk about this. This is almost a winner. Almost! The lens could have been wider, a polariser would have done nothing here as the sun is at your back and the sky has a lot of red in it anyway, but a little under exposure would have been ok especially with a little pre exposure on top iof it, and a little lower viewpoint would have given this some real mystery. TYhe trees limbs frame and continue the houses outline very well. In fact the tree is what reallymakes this image. Good vision here. Just a couple of little things and this would be in the steve kaufman league. You should Shop this image dear. This has an incredible amount of potential. James

nice image lisa...the dried off tree goes well with the abandoned house ....and the sky color complements the grass color..

Kinda sad! An abandoned, windowless house, collapsing roof, chimney falling apart, a leafless tree, dry grasses in the foreground. The background is a little cluttered, though probably unavoidable. The depth feels fine to me. Did you use a lens hood? An interesting theme, a place I could spend hours walking around and through.
