Wow This is wonderful to say the least, the perfectly captured beautiful spoonbill with the slight wing blur is outstanding, look at those big feet.
very nice but I have almost come to expect it from you!
P.S I have much catching up to do due to a ex UF member who saw fit to pic a fight with my 17 yr old nephew, then claim that he and I were the same person, I am sorry as you were one of 2 people effected by his misbehavior, and for the comment he left. he is no longer allowed on UF from my computer atleast...

Opportune capture, as you have us accustomed to. Love the way you caught the winds as a somewhat analogous reflection of the legs, and the blur on the feathers to show movement. The focus is perfect on the body, and the dof blurs the rest for a beautiful presentation ... You did it again .. you're the best ..Gab

Darlene I love Spoonbills, they're so unique in their own right, and this is no exception..Excellent as always my dear, this one reminds me of how we would feel if the wind blew up our skirt...hahahaha...not making fun, but what a visual...beautiful as always, love that moody background, and the motion blur of the wings...:):)Linda

Wonderful shot. The bird is like a coiled spring--full of energy and control. The legs and claws, though, are what I find most amazing.
