Hi Michael, Very good close up, captureing the details, making it somewhat more abstract than if you'd zoomed out a bit more. That's also what makes it tick, as the textures and tones are much more important, IMO, than the overview or the face. Superb capture and a refreshing solutioon for a portrait...:)

It's amazing what a 500 mm lens can do for detail. The dancers were in the tribal circle and this was very much a "traditional" celebration. This is one of the few shots I can post - I try to keep the identities of the dancers hidden out of respect.

A wonderful detail shot of the dancer. I know what your doing even if those first 8 didn't! My kind kind of shot, too. Taos, Pow Wow, eh? We have them locally at many of the local casinos (6-8 nearby me), but that must be spectacular.
