About	This was taken at the end of the "American Idol" show. Journalists and reporters gather outside the dtudio property to interview audience members and contestants as the leave the lot. In the post processing I tried to capture the energy and movement of the scene which just didn't come accross in the straight color version. This will be my last photo for about a week. Going fishing and hoping to come back with some nice new images.

Fun portfolio Robert.
I thought your name sounded familiar.
I live in Ventura County now so I don't know a lot about what goes on in LA anymore. I used to live on Pinehurst just off Franklin, and later up Nichols Canyon. I'd love to see what Venice boardwalk looks like these days, ... hint. I have been trying to find a photo I made at Muscle Beach in the 60's, no luck. A lot of photo possibilites at Exposition Park too. USC Campus. I remember cruising Sunset Strip in a friend's GTO, but that must have been forty years ago. Do kids still cruise the strip?

I think this works better as an idea than as a picture. And I speak from experience! Sometimes there's too much information for an abstract or not enough to make a good record. Both options are problematic.
