I had a Mamiya 645. I don't think any other camera has suited me quite as well... You've caught this guy, with his youth and enthusiasm, quite beautifully, Ed.
I agree, moving away from the background would be desirable. However, my studio (garage) is 7ft wide and about 12ft deep, and I had to keep the door shut because the sun was shining directly into the room. Also, this guy brought 3 of his friends along to watch, so it was a bit crowded in there!
Nice relaxed pose. I wonder if moving him away from the background may blurr it a little more and make it less distracting. Also there seems to be some spill light on his shoulder. Otherwise the lighing and tones are good. Sold my 645 for a D70 and sort of regret it now :-(
