Nice shot Brandy! The colors are very pleasing to the eye. Nice dof, too!

I've heard og these but never tasted them, but they sound yummy!

I know, I know I am there and getting further there too quickly. I don't even a tiny portion of what I used to do "back in the olden" days. Jan

here they are homemade or specialty items. I have a friend who used to make all kinds of jellies and such to sell at craft shows. I miss being able to buy from her. getting old ruins more things ;)

Have had the wine and the jelly both and you are right - think they do have more flavor than grapes. Think I have seen both on the grocery shelves. LOL Jan

this pic does not do them justice. in the bright sun the were beautiful.
the year I made jellies of wild berries I picked the whole stem when they were all dark and pull off the berries which are tiny and boiled them to make a juice. they dont taste good at all straight off the vine.
the juice then is made into jelly.
I have never done it but it can be made into wines and even put into pies and things I have heard. It has a grape flavor so is very good jelly as it has almost more flavor.

What a great shot - those berries look good enough to eat. The colors just jump right out at you and the DOF is really good. Are the dark ones ready to pick? Yumm. Jan

I've seen in some specialty shops. The home-made wine that I've had was excellent.
