About Christianity taught me passivism and peace. Life taught me to fight back. Striking the balance has been the hard part.

Strong hand. Nice steel. Great book.

I like the combo too.

Thanks for the kind words, Brandy. As far as Christians go, they're just people. People will do what they choose to do.

Christianity is definitely a paradigm of peace, though. Implementing it in the face of those who would try to harm you is tough.

Wow, this is quite nice. I mean, sad, but nice. It's always hard to portray intense thoughts and feelings through photography or art in general, really, but I think you did a great job.

I had to come back and add this is a very strong message and every part is perfectly thought out.
a 10 if we could do it.

never thought of christians as passive. Maybe that is where some of my problems lie.
Life has also taught me that if you dont fight for you and yours it will all be taken away but the people calling their selves christian. I dont think that is as God intended but I dont think we are expected to sit and let it happen.
Maybe the gun is a little extreme however. Probably outsmarting is the best answer or maybe the bloody fist if that dont work :)

This is a very strong image. The table cloth really fits the ambiguity of your image.
