This is a shot of one of our cats. She rarely sits still but on this occasion she was watching the birds outside. I'm a bit disappointed I cropped her ear off but I'm pleased the focus is on her face instead.
Kay's right. In my experience, soon as a cat sees you reach for the camera, it 's off! This is a good image of Sophie, Lorraine. Good sharp detailing, with good DOF, nicely blurred and pale background. Seven for cuteness!. The only minus is, you've cut this feline's lug off. Poor little bairn.
Sweet- I once had a siamese cat named Sophie. She looks very content watching the birds, and her eyes are in focus. Who could ask for more? Black cats are very hard to photograph well!
