Thanks so much Peter. Not sure about the wildlife in Katrina's aftermath, I did hear that it was very quiet in New Orleans, that there was no noise, not even the birds......But I know they'll be back, just like the cities on the coast. Darlene

Krystal and Mom are doing o.k. Spent the day taking Mom to the doctors for check up and she's doing great, probably better than us! Krystal is tired but hanging in there with a smile on her face. Thanks for asking. Darlene

Hi Darlene, You have a lot of beautiful photos that were taken before being a Usefilm member I assume. I never thought of this place as somewhere to just post new shots. I find that this site gives me an opportunity to go back and look at my old stuff again and maybe freshen some up with a new presentation in digital. Some need nothing done to them at all! I'm glad to see you are doing the same thing as me with your archives or we would miss out on all this great stuff. Andre

Oldies but goodies Darlene - wish my "not posted" were are wonderful as yours have been. The colors and composition are pure Darlene - super - and the DOF is perfect for the shot. Just enough to put things in to perspective, but not enough to detract from the birds! Jan

Absolutely! These birds have been lucky to be snapped by you, and immortilised for ever, Darlene. But maybe they don't care, as long as they're left in piece.
Exceptional colour, detail and a sense of movement. Darlene, with the megazoom does it again.
