Several components of this image attract me: the focus and full dof that gives it depth, the B&W with simple monotones that make it so elegant, the distance of capture which makes the branches just thick enough to make them seem fragile, and the composition, including the frame, which puts it all together ... excellent photo and also sensible words by Gabo Márquez... The shot is certainly impressive.
I dont know what to say, cause it just makes me look to the sky.
The ascending leaves r very inviting up there, were we find the peaceful white sky.

Lovely words dear Mohamed, well said...I have him on my list of books to read, Lovers and other Demons and I can't remember the other title but I plan to do just that...this is a wonderful image I love this kind of stuff, my mother gave me a love for trees as a child. Perfect DOF, and a wonderfully simple composition...things aren't always obvious, sometimes we have to look beyond...beautiful work my dear...Linda
