Hi Janice. Happy New Year to you and your family. I finally have a little time to view your shots. I really likethe pertspective for this shot. I really shows the height of the hills. The boats help emphazise the size.

Thanks Toshi - the water looked so inviting, and the day was so hot, that I really would have liked being down there getting my feet wet! Jan

Lisa - Thank you for your comments. Arizona is happy to have visitors so come on over!. I agree, the state is beautiful, and I am looking forward to cooler weather so that I can get out and about more - not to mention lower gas prices so I can afford to get out and about! We had lovely weather for our drive back from Vegas, and my hubby, Sam, was so good about not only stopping when I saw something - but actually wanting to stop so I could take some of the things he had seen. Great perspective Janice, I love how the river winds through the mountains. Lovely blue tones in the water and the boats add a very nice touch!

Seeing your photo of the Colorado River makes me want to go on vacation to Arizona again. Your state is so beautiful. I love the location where you took this photo from. I really like how you see the river meandering through the photo. Looks like you had beautiful weather for your trip and a very scenic drive home.

Thanks Chris - hubby Sam kept saying "see the speedboat and its wake - can you get it?" Well, surprise - caught two for him, but didn't know it until I uploaded and enlarged! Even on zoom they were just specks way down in the valley! Jan

A fine shot of this double bend in the river, Janice.
Best regards, Chris
