Pamela,
Thank you young lady, but God creates them and I just capture them... ;)
Just a shot in Grapevine of the Trantula Train. I did get steamed, because I was so involved with the shot the steam got me. Ouch, Not really the steam was cool by the time it got to me, but I was afraid it would get my camera wet and messed up. All went well though...
Thank you my friend,
Martin

I love this whole series on the steam locomotive! The color tone you have chosen has really played up the nostalgic era. This shot has a real glossy look to it which would make a great poster for the retired railroad worker! They must take a real pride in the history and benefit that the railways brought to civilization. I like that you chose to take this shot with the steam working in order to see in action the power involved. I also like how the machine fades into the steam. Nicely composed!

Hey Roland,
Sorry I haven't checked your site lately... So many photos and so little time... lol ...
Thank you so very much for your support and comments. I'm sure you don't wish this shot was more in focus than me... lol
I think the steam confused the auto focus... I'll have to keep that in mind next time...
Thanks again,
Marty

Great shot of the Tarantula train Martin. The sepia tone makes it look like a picture of a train in Dallas 100 years ago. Nice job with the composition, you can't see anything that gives away the time period. Thank you for your recent comment on my picture.
