Thank you very much Margaret. It's odd that ppl think of all this spookiness and whatnot. I do not feel that at all, actually. It was a perfectly natural event and beautiful for all that. I respect nature and do not attach any metaphysical agenda to it.

Kathy - indeed! You know what it's like when you are thinking: heck, my cam's gonna be KILLED by my recklessness...

Nope, Anthony...I like this one better. These colors are much nicer IMO. I had actually missed the first one, but went back to check and this is my favorite. That's why we take more than one shot, right? Kathy

Thank you Ina...hmmmm, I liked the bricks and windows because I felt they added a human aspect to an altogether natural event. However, since I have the memory of the torrent which I did not capture successfully in my photo, I can understand your view. Believe me, the weather was dramatic - flashes of lightning everywhere. Thank you as always for your thoughts Ina; I value them greatly as you know.

Anthony, I actually liked that bold shadow and I think I was wrong to zoom in and thereby lose it - but hey the conditions were atrocious and I was afraid my cam was getting too much rain haha! Thank you very much for commenting.

hey anthony...after looking at both i think that this photo seems better than the first one. i like the coloring much better and in this photo, there is not that huge shadow from the tree upfront. just my opinion though.good job -Ant

Much better than the first one, Anthony! Better colors (less green) less sharpness, and less visible bricks & windows, which I almost wanted to suggest blurring the windows, especially the top one. But these suggestions are after the fact, anyway. I like this one better, Ina

Thank you guys. I feel privileged to be in your company. Um..Larry and Kathy - I think you will both like the first deluge better, like Erik Shea - it was lit by lightning. But maybe not? I sort of like this better - I think it's more subtle.

Very nice, give it a very spooky feel, like Michael Meyers should come out around the house
