The empty darkness certainly has its appeal. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the proximity of the flower's pedal to the lower edge of the frame. I like to see a little more breathing room near the edges.

Ilike this but hard to say why. maybe thoughtful randomness? Might be interestting to see it with the lower flower brightened up a bit. But, very interesting as is.
