Profundity "on the fly" on this windowsill! These are great words. Love your freedom.

Beautiful! Yep, daydreaming, loafing, prolonged and serious use of comfy chairs and divans are sadly underrated activities. /Hansi

Extremely artisic and poetic. I love the silky whites and soft subtle browns. I see an arched ballroom and an exquiste crystal chandelier in the background. This is intriguing Gayle. The graceful curves of the driftwood stand out beautifully against the darkness right behind it. Whatever you did here certainly turned out to be a fascinating abstract.

A good capture Gayle, but I also was trying to work out what the thing is with the eye? I did think it looked like a piece of drift wood but wasn't sure, well it has made the photo a bit of a mystery, a good shot..Tracey

Interesting image Gayle, it almost has an abstract quality to it, it took me a minute to sort it out, I think it's a wonderful collection of shapes, well balanced, a nice diagonal in your composition, and I like the tones. I definitely see the eye in the driftwood...I really like it, I can see this one framed, kind of impressionistic, very nicely done...Linda

Fascinating patterns in this, Gayle - for some reason I'm having a difficult time wrapping my mind around this! I get the feeling (again) of there being two planes, elements from each overlapping the other... Are you sure you don't live in two different dimensions at once? :)

Red the comments LOL everyone is going to see something different in this, so many hazy shapes, and contours. Most unusual - how are you doing? apart from Daydreaming :) Margaret

Gayle!!
> Markus Amelius, what on earth are you on???
Now who'd'a thunk it: I've been wondering the same thing! I'm trying hard to join the dots, but the dots just keep on re-dispersing themselves with a migrant dynamism all of their own, making the task of catching up a real biggie.
Mind you, the driftwood and the taller thingy in the picture do look a bit like a cormorant looking down like a cob librarian with a shelf support instead of a beaky area.
Nice parchmenty effect. Stillness of life. There are no invasive flabby thugs in your kitchen, I can tell! All is gentle and fragrant.
Daydreams, eh? When one everyday thing merges seamlessly into another and something else comes out the other end combined with apparently unconnected relics from a different age. All of this encapsulated in one image.
Yeah!
Paul

Markus Amelius, what on earth are you on??? bahahahaha...that is wood grain and the taller thingy is driftwood...it is leaning against the inside of the windowsill in my kitchen....the mirror ghost effect throws things around according to the settings,so accentuated the grain "creepy to you" thing you see...boo! ;>

What is that thing on the left side? I see an eye ball some teeth and what looks like some kind of skeleton of something. Creepy. I like this one - it has a modern look. Mark :~> PS How about "Daydreams When the Prozac Runs Out"? Am I just seeing things?
