Thanks so much Gina...I love the Monterey area especially the famous 17 mile drive. Your grandparents were very fortunate to have had property there. I haven't had much luck with the weather each time I have been there...normally overcast. THanks for taking the time to stop by and comment. Blessings to you and Merry Christmas.

When I was a child my grandparents had some acreage in Monterey... and I remember this area very fondly. It's been more than 35 years since I've been there. Very nice shot, love it in B&W.

Dear Lyle,
Well here I am possibly earlier than you thought so why the lack of self-confidence or perhaps too much humility. This is a very descent piece and I really like the extended vertical composition to show that very long downward wall straight to the ocean. Destined to be in B&W ... Good wise choice.
Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!
P.S. Your name is included in a dedication piece, ("Beloved Yosemite"), because of your recent very nice compliment to me - Thanks!

Hello Lyle. I wish to thank you for your comment. Looking at your portfolio, this photograph of the "Lone Cyprus" along our famous 17 mile drive brings back the memories. I love the Monterey area. Good work.
Regards,
Tom

Hi Kathy...Thanks for your encouragement. Yes, new to this Forum and again, yes...very addicting. I do enjoy what other people see and you have quite the eye. Thanks for the PS rework. I was going to get around to it but you beat me to it. Good job.

Exactly what I was thinking Kathy. I just didn't have the chance to do the same. Thanks for encouraging us young ones to usefilm.

Hi Lyle, Thanks for your recent comment! I really appreciate it! I see you are fairly new to Usefilm...Welcome! Don't you just love it? Careful...it's addicting! I was reading the other comments on your picture and read the one about the tree. Sorry...I just couldn't help myself...I took it to PS. Did you think about cloning? This only took a second...hope you don't mind! :) Kathy

I like it! Did you change it to B&W from color? It looks dark and mysterious in B&W.

Thanks little Bud...Good opps. I too agree regarding the tree to the side but as I had mentioned, loads of people stopping to take the same shot and you have to just elbow your way in there to compose the photo. Best I could get at the time. Thanks for the encouragement...varoom
