Angela, you did a great job fighting the sun on this one, it turned out great. I don't mind the hair, I think it adds a touch of playfulness. But I have to agree with the comment that it's not very flattering to the girl the way it's cropped. I think a tighter crop would help that though. Cute shot!

I think this is a very well done portrait. I think the lighting worked out fine. The hair in the face adds a spontanity that makes the portrait more intimate.

Great tones & focus, Angela. Keseph has a point, though maybe a closer crop would take care of the 'unflattering' part? As far as the hair, I can see what Steven is saying and I think that's the only part that bothers me. Maybe it just looks that way because it is a small image online!??

Good job fighting the sun.
I don't feel that this angle is flattering to the girl.
I think more hair on her face would be better than what is there. However, because he is so clean-cut, her hair should be "nice" too, at least for this shot.

Thanks so much Kathy for your honest opinion! I'm goign to see what I can do about that hair. I'm not super good with that kind of cloning, detailed cloning. Guess I should jsut start practicing. Angela

I just love the tones you achieved here, Angela! They look so at ease...great job! I didn't notice the hair until you mentioned it. I think it's fine either way, but I think that I would take it out. Don't know why...I just do :) Well done! Kathy

I think it adds...because she is on his back it adds movement to the photo. If she was on her feet maybe not. Lovely tones as usual...the detail and focus are right on.

i love their expressions of happiness and hope. I think you did a good job with the lighting too. the hair in front of her eyes does not bother mea lot but I think it might look better with out it, Also, is that hair on her nose? It seems broken up a bit from the hair on her forehead. Still love their expression so full of life
