The diagonal flow of the composition leads the viewer beautifully upstairs. I like the rather low viewpoint enhancing the shape of the lion and the flowerpot. As a very minor criticism, I don't like the way the background tree is placed half hidden, I find the vertical circle aread (see below) very little hightened from its surroundings, partially because you have meet a undesirable straight line (also marked below).
