The churches in the U.S. are not kept up to this beauty anymore. This was what American churches were like in the 50's. Really a said state of Christian affairs here in the U.S.

I don't think it was f128, as you've stated Joanna! It would be a lot darker! This is a beautifully detailed photo, of this ornate interior. Wonderful exposure and colour in all parts - which is hard to achieve. Exceptional, Joanna.

It is a glorious church, but I would think it would be very difficult to photograph and get everything exposed correctly. I think you did an excellent job of preserving detail in the darkest areas. Very well done.
