About I noticed a plum tree that had been infested by moths. Using my 'timing', I took this shot and wondered where the moth went. Still I'm quite pleased with the shot, although I wouldn't mind removing the other branches of the tree from the image.

I used PaintShop Pro 9 for the quick edit - it's relatively inexpensive (<$100 USD) and should be available in Australia (er... Assuming you are using MS Windows). Photoshop Elements is another program in the same price range and is available for both Mac and Windows; and there's always GIMP if you are of the Linux persuasion. Go for it. Your picture is definitely worth it.

Excellent image. I wish I could take a snap like this. It looks really good after the edit. You can do basic image editing with this freeware called FastStone Image Viewer.

Thanks for the quick edit, it does really improve the overall look of the shot. If only I could get my hands on a program like that!

Outstanding! I really like this shot. I agree with you about removing the other branches. If you spend a bit of time in PS you could end up with something really special. I hope you don't mind but I did a quick job to see if it would look as good as I imagined - I think it does.
