Thanks JT, I made a black and white copy as you suggested earlier. I'll play around with it a little more. I am limited in the original, as this was a snap shot as I came around a corner and got the boy before he noticed.
Thanks for your help.
Peace,
andy

I think that crop would be more powerful without the base of the pillar in the left of the frame... also a little "leveling" of the image would help as, to me, it look a little off level. I'm using the pillar in the right of the frame as my guide... I find the darkness of the pillar in the top right of the frame distracting as well....
Just a thought... you know me.. I'm all about thoughts!

Andy, good to see you posting. I love the contrast of this shot with the boy and the stone... but would LOVE to see a BW version of it. Also, I think the composition is good, but as you know, I like to slide my primary subject out of the center of the frame... just a thought or two.
Oh.. and welcome to usefilm!

This is one image belonging to a series that I would call "Precious Moments". Just a moment frozen in time. Very beautiful exposure, the stone walls look old and tired in comparison with the child's youth caught unawares.Wonderful! Best regards, Gabriela
