I love your profile Miss and you are so right about being in the moment when it comes to photography! You are lucky to be in the position you are in and have all the wonderfull opportunity to capture lives and life on print!
I dont know why its taken so long for me to find your portfolio unless you just have not posted in a long time but Im glad I found it tonight!
You are a wonderful photographer and have many beautiful images.....Quite professional!
I really like this one right down to the cut in the ice! I really love the great Depth of fild you captured here and think it does wonders for this photo!

noise is the (electronic) graininess you see (or at least I see in the picture, especially in the background. It can be an element of a picture or composition but often it is just an artifact of digital cameras, when the Iso setting was very high (400+), shooting under poor light conditions.

Very good composition, I like the Dof and the subdues colours. The noise is distracting to me here!
