About altar of St. Therese, St. Chrispinian and St. Chrispim, in the church of Our Lady of Carmo (a local name for the Mount Carmel), in Recife, Brazil.

this series aims to share with all you my friends some of the treasures and wonders of the baroque art existing in 2 cities of our state of Pernambuco, namely Recife, its present capital, and Olinda, its former one. these cities were founded in the XVI century, and have many stunning baroque churches of which some details are to be presented here. unfortunately i had many troubles in taking these photos and you will be able to note certain technical deficiencies in them, but i think that the images are good enough to give a fine idea of the beauty of our art, and hope all you would enjoy them as i do. regards!

Dear Ricardo, I've put you on my list of friends to be able to come back and see all your works and specially these ones dedicated to the Brazilian Baroque Art. Even though you might have had troubles to shoot these beauties, I'm sure everyone at Usefilm is going to appreciate
and enjoy your postings.
Thank you for this precious job!

Hi! glad that you have enjoyed! but never mind your missing! there would be another time to you visit it again and maybe enjoy it much more! i do hope you could come to Brazil again and see not only Recife and Olinda, surely cities very rich in art treasures, but some other cities also like Ouro Preto, Mariana, São João del Rey, and Salvador, this one accordingly to some experts the richest city in Brazil as regards the baroque art. but if you would have to choose a single one i would indicate Ouro Preto. it's a liitle absolutely charming and lovely village almost entirely unaltered since the XVIII century, and the UNESCO granted it the status of World Treasury. why don't you plan another trip to our country next summer??? just an idea!!! best regards!

Oi Ricardo, estou louca prá ver essa série toda. :-)
Quero ver todos as outras todas... :-)
