The gingerbread houses are a good example how the idea can govern or develop the pictures. I gues as soon as the title is there, you can multiply your shots of these houses and develop a fine collection, connected by the common idea of this gingerbread metaphor. (I hope I am not too obscure. ALl I want to say it that I like the idea and find it very productive.)

Thanks Kathy for your nice comments, as I said to Susie, it's the square format - I'm very fond of it, it's like discovering a whole new world :)

Well how unique. I would never think of presenting a photo on this angle. (I would probably walk right by and not see the cool photo in the first place!) Really nice colors and textures Ina. And yes, we get lots of colors here in the fall from the many deciduous trees. I expect you will see a lot of those colors from Kathy in near future! :) Have a great weekend!

Hi Margaret, thanks for your comments! It's a different house: #1 had different gingerbread, different roof shingles and walls, but they're both heritage homes - which means people can live in them, but can't make changes w/out a commission's approval, in order to preserve the heritage. Best regards, Ina

Thank you, Daniel :) A lot of people thought it was a boat, I just cropped it so it fits into a square, I didn't want to see any sky or foliage, just the roof line.

Dearest Ina, thank you for the dedication!!!I LOVE it!!! What happens there where the building year is affixed is marvelous texture and looks like chocolate! The white wooden frills are exquisite, how creative that you shot it at this angle, permitting the sharp upper part of the roof to be seen. And those green tiles on the roof give me great pleasure. I'll be living in this Gingerbread House 2 in my dreams tonight! Love from Gabriela

SO, so, so AWESOME! Ina in the thumb nail I thought it was the front of a boat. I must be getting tiered. But when I opened it I was blown away! Excellent!!!
