About One of my favourite trees which was cut down last year after a couple of people hung themselves on nearby almond trees. The unusual colours are a result of a yellow-blue variable filter in combination with a polariser

Thanks for your comments Mary Sue,I'm glad you like my landscapes, they're what I enjoy shooting most!In answer to your question about the dreamy effect ,it's usually the result of a Cokin Pastel or diffuser filter. In Photoshop I often play around with filters such as Find Edges which I then modify until I get the effect I'm after.Sometimes I apply a particular tool or filter to the whole image and sometimes to a selected area.

Tony, your style is instantly recognizable from the thumbnail. I always like seeing landscapes through your vision. What post-photo manipulation (if any) do you use to achieve the dreamy quality that you capture so well?

Yikes, a gruesome story. I guess I can see the farmer's point. Nice colors.
