Carsten is a great photographer with an impressive mode in her point of view..
this one my friend is a perfect awardfor carsten..the great DOF and the marvellus trasaprency..

Hi Thilo,
I saw this one yesterday, glanced at it briefly, but didn't have time to write comments. I'm so glad I came back. I just uploaded a landscape myself, and in comparison this one puts mine to shame! The water, the sky, the clouds, and composition are all very striking. I think this one deserves many more views.
Carsten should be very pleased with your tribute.

Wow, vielen Dank für das Bild ! Schon im preview dachte ich, das ist was nach meinem Geschmack ;-) Klasse Weitwinkel-Aufnahme, man hat das Gefühl als ob man in das Bild hineingezogen wird, super die Tiefenwirkung der Perspektive. Sehr kräftige, doch natürliche Farben (da bin ich ja manchmal etwas krasser...).

another fine tribue photo Thilo...genre jumping like a madman. i like this wideangle look, especially the appearance given to the rocks at bottom. great effect, and fine colors as well. Carsten's work is fantastic too, haven't viewed his work in awhile though...which I'll do right now!

Your D70 loves you, Thilo! I really admire those who are unafraid to be on the edge, or to get "dirty" for the shot that they know, is "the right" one. Carstens work is remarkable, and your tribute is fitting, and worthy!

I'm not sure if I get your question right. But I guess you are referring to the low angle resulting in a zoom effect of the stones?

hi Thilo do not understand why your last one, may be related to some sort of series you have previously published and I did not follow.
here other than the d70 (it is almost unbelievable its position by seeing the result!) are also those stones completely submeged or not?
