About The bicycles Old Order Amish use have no pedal drive train. They are scooters - pushed from the road by foot, and it's hard to fathom the objection to pedals here. Huge crop - I'm at a distance as usual. Hehe, I know this image is stark and otherwise unconventional. I like it and stand by it for the purpose I intended :)

Thank you Gabriela. The kind of hybrid bike/scooter contraption is used by the Amish a lot, and I assure you this conveyance is a LOT faster than walking! Kind regards, Anthony.

Anthony, the colours are a dream, I love all the hues of Mother Earth. But what drew me to the photo was that young man. WHAT is he doing there???'cause it cannot be bicycle riding. Even after reading your explanation I cannot fathom it! He might as well walk!!! No???

Hi Ant, the best is to boost color selectively, I find -

Hmmm Ina, you are right about the magenta. I was fiddling around with the colours in this for so long tiredness must make my brain ignore excessive magenta, adunno. A thing I'll have to watch for in future.

Tx for the Levitan image - how one aspires to emulate paintings sometimes - even a mere suggestion is hard enough in photography, although I must say you ae pretty skilled at it! Your take on those gourds are spectacular and very persuasive. Ant.

Hi Ant, Love the rolling road, the cropping is beautiful, it's a perfect scene, but I see again a lot of magenta. What happened?
This is a Russian realist painting, oh my, the hair in the wind!
