Hi Mark
Thanks for replying. Yes you hit all my points? (?all?? ? they were just two)?.well almost. I had asked specifically about the Canon 28-135mm IS lens but you forgot that. Never mind!
Yes I had noticed the use of various lenses in your photo info and yes, for some of your posts, you must indeed have picked up ?just one? from the list. I know, Mac users may have problems with filling in the info.BTW?. If you use Netscape, you will be able to add any lens and slide you like.
Take care - Emgy

Dear Emgy, thanks for stopping by. To answer your questions well I do put it through PS v 2.0 but that's only for minor cropping (sometimes, not always) and to take out a piece of trash like a paper wrapper or something. To me, PS means a person did alot of work that's different than what the slide looks like (or changed the sky, added clouds, etc). The Canon Lens? Well, I have a lot ,17-35 f2.8 L, the one here to cover the middle range, 75 - 300 zoom IS, 100-400 L zoom IS which I use a lot but don't ever mention because for some reason when I type it in the UF page it rejects it (I use all Macs, maybe that's the problem) so I have to pick one off the list (100-400 is not on the list). My girlfriend also has the 70 - 200 L f2.8 IS with the 1.4 x and 2 x converters which I use a lot. I don't like tripods when traveling so the IS feature is great. - i've saved MANY shots because of it so I love them - especially the high quality L lens . Probably the best 35mm lens made (well Zeiss makes great lens as well I believe). I 'm also a mid to late day / early evening shooter (not a morning shooter) so you could only get this kind of strong reflection (The Taj has a million reflection pools) very late in the day. I just matched the slide (which is Ektachrome VS Pro - another thing not found on the UF list) as close as I could. BTW, that example you put in is earlier in the day - especially if you look at the sky and a different reflection pool was used. I have a few more back but it's such a pain to search back ( I have to put them all in my "India" porfolio- haven't done that yet). Hope i hit all the points you asked about. Take care, Mark

So many images of the Taj Mahal, yes..... me too Daniel. I kew I had seen one in relection so I found it for you (btw, it's not my shot!). It will be the second one you see. Reflection is not
so clear and sharp as the one in Mark's post and it is a slightly different perspective but I thought you'd like to see it anyway.
Regards - Emgy

A very special pic indeed, I don't understand how I could miss this one. Amazing clarity and sharpness of the reflections and definitely a very interesting image of this enchanting mausoleum.Well done, Mark! If it wasn't PS then what photo program was it? I also like the golden tone. In my favs!!!!
Regards - Emgy

p.s. You're using the same lens I have. How do you like it?
