I appreciate what you are saying and agree that it would be better seen without the very top portion. I will rework it when I have time and repost in the future.

...and I thought it was fog. :) How clever. It's certainly an interesting effect. I'm wondering if you cropped some off the top it would eliminate the brightness at the top which is distracting my eyes from the fog lke smoke and the interesting twisted tree trunks. I feel you still get enough moody foggy smoke in the image without the need for the top portion. Just a thought. Cheers - Ann :)
