hi ya, added to faves...so poetic, has the Sudek tone i so love,a simple beauty of nature's treasures, and so exquisite,Ian...so many appealing elements like the shadows, the light and the feather's position within the framing...and the drops are the punctuation! What an artist you are!.....regards,gayle 7+

Checked it out. Some really great stuff. I hate those who do B/W well... makes me feel like a little kid... no talent, no hope. Great stuff. Thanks for the link.

I have been fairly intrigued by what I have seen in Arnoldas Jurgaitis' work. Very simple few elements in his work (tree trunks, shadow, light). I can't remember what term he used something like parables or metaphores, to describe what he was doing. I see he's recently withdrawn them all but has floated a site at pbase. Very lovely. Not really a p.s. guy. mostly trying to find something profound in the light and natural world. There's no parable I made it up. :) www.pbase.com/arnoldas If you're interested. In his "lights" portfolio there is a picture called "meandering" most profound use of a boggy wet ditch I have ever seen.
