hi arwa how u doing? been following ur work i think its fab. i have to be honest i know nothing about taking fotos but have always been interested. i went to jorden this year and took lots of fotos of petra this old ruinned city and it amazed me how images can really reflect an occasion and the feelings to other people. i mean u could feel a certain way about a foto then some1 else mite view it in a com[pletly diff way. is hard to do portraits of people cause i always want to capture the realness of people and people alwys seem to want to pose. do u know of any sites thatmite help me in startin to take photos #

Nice composition and a good perspective. Looks like it was overexposed --- maybe because the meter was trying to get the dark background "right." In such situations, I would spot meter off the bird and open up about 1.5 stops, or here metering off the rocks by its feet would work too.

Wonderful light, great use of Dof enticing wild life picture. Especially like the soft light spot of reflection in the background above the herons head as well as the one under it.
