Hi Rafi - I was in Egypt in 2001 for three weeks teaching lab sciences and statistics to the staff of the Alexandria Drinking Water Laboratory. I then toured for two weeks. The faluka ride on the Nile was on my third day there; the engineer who had recruited me felt that the Nile from a faluka was an absolute must and it provided one of several pleasant memories of the trip. - Mister Ken

Are you in Egypt now, Ken? this is a lovely photo. The grain and toning make it look like ancient photography. Thank you for your very kind comment on my "Sunrise over Aqaba." If your daughter really wants it, she has my blessing. Best regards, Rafi

Great capture. Very effective. An added sense of mystery is created by using this tone and having the figure there.
