Couldn't lock my attention on the picture as a whole at first glance. The mountains background kicked in first, then the lower textured part took advantage, then both parts snapped into place. Weird feeling and that stands it out for me.

Thanks for the comments - the yellow is the color of the dry grass that covers the plain n between the dunes...(sometimes...)
