Thanks for your comment Laurie. As you can see from my portfolio,I like the 180 a lot at least I am using it frequently, even though a 180 is kind of more dedicated to animal makros. But I use it with additional magnification lens as well as extension tubes and I am very happy with it,even though most of the time one has to use a tripod. That might be better with a 100mm or even a 50 macro, both of which also might be a tad sharper (and a tad cheaper !)Regards Jörg
