This picture is A+++ (as some people put it) Suz. I'm impressed. Everything here works together perfectly...from the comp, the natural rawness of the glass, Kathy's silhouette, choice of border, and such on (and such forth)!!! Great pic!

Wow, Susie, you got Kathy pointing with her camera, a wonderful capture with the blue water background and the smiling beluga! Very cool, almost electric color! Great silhouette, given the lighting - it's so difficult in there (I have my share of belugas from Marineland, Niagara Falls, none worth processing) so I know it takes great skill to get these shots. Those whales are amazing, they really seem to communicate with you, I really wonder!

I like that you left the scratches in. I think it's nice to see some things left in the picture, especially if they add to the mood of place that you were shooting at the time. I think that the scratches on an aquarium tank do just that. Well done. Great silhouette too! I love it!

oooh! i love belugas with their spongy little heads!....crafty sister Kathy has..hehehe...good silhouette of her at work...and like that smiling beluga!...i agree with Jacques about the blown out part,but figure there must have been direct sunlight shining down on him and reflecting off of the water and glass? Not sure how one avoids that or compensates when that bright...anyone have an answer or tips for aquarium shots?

very intersting and original shot! lovely silhouettes and deep blue Susie! bu the way, i think taht the scratches add an intersting natural note to the composition. without them all could appear artificial, without any sensation of real space.
