Cool.
The bright patch doesn't bother me. It's a highlight that supports everything else in this great image.

I aDORE this image, Ian. Blurry images don't usually "make it" for me, but this is indeed an exception where the blur puts me about smack dab IN the moment. The little notes are amazing -- you did not add them I see as I looked through the thread to find an explanation. How did they happen that way?! Please please spell it out for me as I am clueless. I like both versions a LOT. The BW is a classic piece of art. This one is a poster for the band -- and I rather enjoy the extra attention given to the notes with the bar at the bottom. Also, it balances out the writing at the top (weightwise), which I really like -- is that your handwriting or a font -- very cool. The two images have lives of their own...not an either/or situation for me. In favs. What a prize!!! Antonia

So cool, my friend! I see a lot of concert work and usually I don't care for blury, shaky, fuzzy live images. But, admit this one is great. I don't mind that hot spot at all. Excellent work, Ian! CB

My son plays the bass and him love much this shot. Instead, I like more the B/W version.

The BW looks very good but I think I prefer this widescreen color version. I don't feel the hotspot needs treatment - could well bleed over if the framing was white too. Hope I'm not just being lazy - but a bundle of 'pure energy' that cannot be framed fits here doesn't it?

I like! And I love the notes created on the guitar via camera motion...don't think I'd repeat them below the image tho'. Really nicely done, Ian.

Those notes are just about perfect - a little goofy or gimmicky maybe but I think the lasting impression is really satisfying. I also love the lines of the strings and his hat. I am not really bothered by the hot blob.

Marcus your work demonstrates a most excellent response to your subject. You might appreciate this was one of those moments I love when a willing live subject contributes to the image. (Those notes just too cheesy an idea to conjure up but must respect since they happened). Nice to hear from you. Pardon my silence baby and all. Mind you it's not like your short of company there on your homepage at present.
