Hi Erik,
this lens baby stuff is nothing you could easily do in PS ;-) love that weird outcome. the leaves like your birds here. the tonong is fine for the subject and the title. nice one!

douglas, i actually like the re-work a lot. as far as b+w goes, the image is seen as shot in RAW, with an adjustment only in regards to white balance. i like the monochromatic look with just a hint of sunset color. thanks for he re-work and the thoughts. erik

Dear Erik,
A very simple image but which conveys alot of thought even in it's title:
As an artist I am sure your formatted this piece the way you did but not utilizing the full potential of the screen for some reason.
I am very attracted to this pictorial exemplifying two different natures of 'Life & Death' while deeply wondering if those are remaining leaves from autumn or even many birds, but I thought perhaps per the attached an even more diagonal approach would lend a greater natural abstract with the blurred dof.
Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!
P.S. ... I tried it in B&W but it just doesn't work for me or probably you or you would have rendered it so ... Correct?
