Purple bougainville are so pretty and you have presented these in your usual top notch technique. The colors, details and DOF are super and the brackets just jump out at you. Especially like the little white star-shapped center on that one bracket - and do believe that those are vinca in the background - they sure make a nice contrast to the purple. Thanks for taking the time to comment on some of my florals - will try the reduce exposure bias and see what happens. Have also started taking my glasses off and getting my eye as tight as possible to the viewfinder so that the light reading isn't messed up any more than with my wrong settings, etc. Seems to have helped with some of my shots. Jan PS - like your new series - people and animals are great combinations!

Beautiful shot Peter! I wish my plant would produce more than one or two flowers at a time! Neat shading aroung edges...makes the flowers stand out more. Regards--Bill Voizin
