Your words make this so emotional Mark, not being able to clearly see the horizon represents the lost childhood and even that the memories are fading away, sometimes the light can be blinding, and indeed obscure the view, but it's there you just have to find it, maybe sometimes we look too hard and can't see what's right there in front of us..wow you are taking me on a journey here. A great image telling the story my dear friend...well done...Linda

Some drama enacted by the stones here. The stones have a watching out to see yearning quality. I assume you can imagine that. Sorry these critiques not technical but I'm finding them provoking thoughts about technique following on from how on earth can so much drama, such a sense of theatre can come from a shot low lying on a beach. something else aside from vignette, dof, antiquing, an unattainable horizon and low childs perspective. Perhaps it was a satisfying enough process to make this.
