It takes skill to have luck! You show excellent technique to get down on your belly and stalk this killdeer. Really good background, interesting in it's own way with a simple, dark blue, water-color pattern.

HI Gregory,
I immediately had to see what lense you used. This is SPECTACULAR! Awesome detail/clarity.
DOF is fantastic, and the grass in foreground, perfect.
I haven't seen a Killdeer in years, I do remember that they are really neat birds to watch!
