Shawn, it seems we share two things in common - have served in the Air Force and enjoy florals. This is a really good photo of the orchids. The purple and red colors side-by-side are difficult to do, especially with slide film. This is very well done. Thanks for your comments and for sharing your photos. Rodney

I'm not too much into flower photography so I might not be the best critic here. The flowers are beautiful, but I think the frontal light shows only half their beauty. Some backlight would show the internal structure of the flowers more and maybe make it more interesting.
