Thanks for your wonderful comment...
You have forced me to look up somthing I've needed to for a while. I've questioned this information myself. This is the EXIF information in Paint Shop PRO. According the "EXIF v2.2" This is suppose to be in "Meters" but 17 meters = 663 inches. It looks more like cm and 17 cm = 6.63 in. When I shot the last posting of the butterfly the reading was 156 and if it was cm then I was 60.84 inches away which could be. I was standing and using the full 10x zoom shooting down at about 45 degrees. I will start indicating cm on the next postings....
