The limited palette makes the grasses stand out so effectively. I really like how they bend into the shadow. The rosy hint of color in the frame is a nice touch too. Very enjoyable.

Good title Lori, this shows how hard it can be for some of these dessert species to exist. The contrast of color between the rocks and the plants also works well,

Great colour and composition, but some quite harsh shadows. Maybe a bit of fill-flash would have eliminated that.
