Ina,
faddig out the fence is the greatest trick one can do to make this picture better. When shooting this frame I had an option to have a fence on one side or a huge lighting post dominating everything on the left + too much direct light, I picked the fence - sometimes it looks good (but not the specific one).
Regarding colors the picture originally came with a warm pinkish/greenish tones (see attached) which I was not very happy with. In the var I have posted I tried to revert the colors to green tones as I've seen them in the scene. I have tried a lot of different hues but the only alternative for me was to stay with the natural hues but with rised contrast or go more realistic (anyway I like green/blueish combination warming up on the light side.

Great shot. I like the color of the haze mixed up with the sun rays...its very beautiful scene...good to have a cup of coffee ;)
