Magnífica fotografía y una prespectiva muy bien lograda. Es una escena muy romántica que me recuerda el film "Los puentes de Madison" con Clint Eastwood y Meryl Streep. ¡BRAVO! Un saludo de Josep

Very nice sense of perspective across the bridge, although it seems to end there... The woods behind look more like a stage backdrop, maybe because the bridge is in such sharp focus while the background is slightly soft? Lovely rendering of the wood textures. Sister Susie referred me to your portfolio, Kathy...

Great job Kathy! On an abstact level, this is a facinating study of lines, parallel, perpendicular and otherwise. Also a pronounced contrast between man-made lines and nature's lines as seen in the trees. On another level it's an inviting view of a place the viewer would like to walk into. Great stuff!

Thanks for the nice words, Michael! They do have birch trees in Wisconsin, and I think that is what those are. Here in Washington we have them, too, and I love them as well. I love that striking white bark. Take care...Kathy

This picture has great depth of field. It draws one in. You literally look at the bridge 1st then your eye wants to extend the rest of the way down the path. Beautifully done. Kelly

Beautiful shot of this lovely old bridge, Linda. Perhaps worth getting out the 'distort' tool in PS and straightening up the right-hand post by dragging out the bottom corner handle a tad. Best regards, Chris

Superb perspective, Kathy! I love how it leads you into the path and into the forest. The colors are superb, the wood tones, the golden leaves and the rusty dots of the small scattered leaves on the path. But mostly I like the lines, the perspective lines of the bridge starting straight, and then zig-zagging, and the vertical lines of the trees. From the thumbnail I thought it was a drawing or a watercolor, it has that strong linear quality, as if it was drawn. Also, the quality of the photograph and the lighting! 7+++ Outstanding composition, Kathy!

I don't know if it gets a lot of visitors, Janet, but my husband is back there a lot on business, and he loves to go out there and walk. I was there twice during the week that I spent there, and it's really a great place! Thanks for the comment! Kathy

Oh yes this bridge is taking me right into this image. I love the timber tones and textures and the clarity in Brillion is brilliant (pardon the pun) :) I love the lines in this. They are like magnets continually drawing my eyes further and futher into the image across the bridge. Great image Kathy. I really like this one. Cheers - Ann :)
