I really don't know what the shutter speed was, I was brand new with the camera and didn't make an early habit of recording stuff like that, but yes, it was a Ripleys.
The more I look at this photo, the more satisfied I am with it. I really don't think that they are that out of focus.
I DID however use an external flash.

Was this at Ripley's Aquarium ? I agree with Uri, but I am not sure if the fuzziness is from your movement or the jellyfish movement. What was the shutter speed when you shot this ? I have a similar shot that may be a little underexposed but the focus is sharp. I manually set the shutter speed to 1/30.
