It definitely has a dreamy feeling to it. I can honestly say that my breath caught in my chest and I felt myself floating on air when first viewing this. I can hear the waves softly folding upon one another, the sound of the wind catching in the sails, and my own soft and slow breathing as I take in the fresh air surrounding. I think what also makes it spectacular is that there is not a single bird to be found throughout the sky-which aids in the beautiful simplicity. And also the colors are amazing and beautiful. I also like the central positioning of the boat, the fact that you decided not to zoom in any closer-allowing the surrounding water and sky to appear larger than life. A definite favorite! *****

Hi Ferran, this is really my taste, so beautiful also with the pastell-tones, goes to my favs!!! what a luck that you don't adjusted the colors, its perfect so.
-Iam not sure about the color of this big frame around....maybe white would be better(?)

Good shot. Great colors and mood.
I prefer the not in the center version, but I woud put the sail boat to the left so it has room to sail.

Hi Kathy, Thanks for taking your time with one of my pics, of course that I don't mind, I do appreciate it!! Well, to be honest I like it without the fine canvas that you put. Of course this is a very personal choice, but I'll tell you why I chose this way. In my opinion, the black fine canvas is too agressive for the whole set (photo + yellow frame). Soft Yellow-beige is a very relaxing color, even though, it higlights the photo. This yellow makes a good contrast with the blue tones of the picture. However, this is my point of view, which is not the best, just mine.
Thanks a lot again, Kathy!!
regards, ferran

Hi Ferran, Thank you so much for your comment...I really appreciate it! I really like this shot of yours, and I agree about the pastel tones. The only thing that I would do differently is to put a very fine canvas around the image to make it stand out from the frame. I hope you don't mind, but I took it into Photoshop to show you what I mean. What do you think? Kathy

You were right not to adjust this - it reminds me of paintings by my namesake! And the presentation is perfect. AJ

Proper Job!! Good choice, not to enhance the colour any more, the cream border gives it a warmly calming effect too. Well done.
Thx for your comments too, Ciao!

This is a great composition Ferran! The little boat a tack in the center of a very large a peaceful expanse. Great choice to leave this one alone, I think you correctly saw that the strength here is in the softness of the pastels and also in the way the soft colors join the sky and water. This leaves room for the sailboat to make a bigger impact with it's smallness. Excellent.

estoy de acuerdo contigo, tu versión es mejor, esa nube le da un toque. Me gusta que en la nueva hayas mantenido el formato cuadrado. un acierto.

For all those who think that this shot would be better with the ship not centered, here it is. (I prefer the boat in the center, because for my own treatment, I see the shot more like a paint, and I was looking for the perfect equilibrium. Anyway, I don't dislike the boat in one side). Thanks for all your comments!!

Very nice soft colors. It has such calming effect. looks really good, but I think it would be even better (if it's possible to look better) if the boat was not centered. Good work!

You chose wisely Ferran. This certainly exudes the mood of calm and the pastels compliment it beautifully. The soft focus further enhances the feeling of waiting waiting and the composition is so very real in such situations. Wonderful image. Cheers - Ann :)
