Hi and thanks,Carlos.....i agree that some commenting may be too kind,but as you probably know,the largest consumer group of greeting cards is female and particularly with this style of image,so i feel i can get a reasonable marketing read on if will fly or not here at UF....i liked that the suggestion to use this style for cards came from commenters without my mentioning it first ;> ...i also like that the response to this image by men was positive,too!

UF may or may not be the best place to test market an image ? friends are invariably kindly disposed which renders the ?sample? of opinion immediately slanted. Still, I honestly sense the commercial appeal of this ?Romantic Vintage Series?. Again, this one so cool - another fairy tale ? a looking glass into another time.

Read my mind,Poe!...i want to do a line of vintage and photoart cards,but want enough feedback from a variety of tastes to know what works and doesn't....high competition in the card market,but maybe sell online...i need my own website!...thanks,lady!

hi and thanks!...tips? about the border treatment?
I just select a frame choice that has an irregular edge which looks like deckled paper to me,and then i play with the fill color until i get the look i want....these tools are in paintshop pro8

Another wonderful image through the aquarium window. :) The technique you use here always brings aquariums to mind. Commentary could go something like this - This is a lovely museum piece showing the now extinct butterfly. Although there are no known living specimens to be found in this day those other unusual shaped objects were called flowers in their day. They used to have a nice fragrance about them.....Sorry I get carried away but your images inspire my imagination. Wonderful work Gayle.
