gayle,
i tend to agree with Ann, in that this one seems to lack a focus, something for the eye to really munch on. i do like the textures and framing however.
cheers,
erik

Thanks Gayle. I'm always concerned when I leave such feedback because some people do get offended even though they have asked for criticisms. I knew you could take it though. :)

Anyway...I got to looking at your stuff again and I had forgotten about the one with the big A in it. Maybe you could put this new one into another series with the A one and call it your Forgotten series. (tongue in cheek about the name) Cheers - Ann :)

How dare you!..LOL..had to tease you,Ann ;>
Before i posted this one,i thought about how it really didn't quite fit with the others, but threw it in anyway cause i really, really like it...you are very perceptive and i highly appreciate your honest feedback...it will have to be a "cheese stands alone" image for maybe a pillow,or something....always speak your mind with me,lady,as it helps to see how others see my work, especially with the floral series intended for cards....i also appreciate that you really looked at these and took the time to give me good feedback,Ann....you be cool!

This would make a beautiful greeting card. Maybe an "I'm Sorry"? That's the feeling I get from this card...remorse and hopefullness.

Gayle I'm going to be brutally honest about this one and I hope you don't mind. I know you can take it. :) Although I do still really like this and I do enjoy the twigs and branches I feel it's going off track a bit. I know all the images in this series are different and are meant to be but they do have one common element - that being the flower. I miss the full bloom flower somewhere in here. The buds just don't seem enough to be in keeping with the series. I still love this one as I just love twigs anyway for their textures but in my opinion it's not part of the pack. Doesn't seem to be as marketable as the others. I'm looking at it as if I'm the consumer. Just doesn't seem as nostalgic as the others. That's my humble opinion. Still love it as a single though but I'm considering the whole set when I comment cause that's how you're presenting them. Hope that wasn't too brutal. Cheers - Ann :)
