Wow Margaret, this is gorgeous!!!! As I only started with B&W, I didn't even think of trying to inverse the colours...thanks so much for that...it is great!!! And I have to admit that I'm struggling a lot in CS2, but things have a way of sorting themselves out. By the way, I like your 1st try too and thanks so much for these alternatives!! Mireille I like the curves and the tones in the curves/ especially in the lower part where the dark brings out the lining. I am not sure I think it is the white that draws the eye from the great eye catching composition. I tried a couple of experiments to see how different it made it look. One just cropping and toning down the exposure a tiny bit , and the other using invert and then playing a little with curves, see what you think. It is really good to experiment and I find BW quite hard to get to what I think is good, so I am not a very good judge of BW shots Margaret
